Welcome to Advanced College Credit/College Now
Our Mission
The mission of the ACC/College Now program is to provide scholastically able and interested students the opportunity to experience more academically challenging coursework and to begin earning college credit while still enrolled in high school.
About the ACC/College Now Program
Clackamas Community College, together with local high schools, has made it possible for some subjects mastered in high school to earn college credits. High school teachers who meet strict qualifying criteria work with CCC instructors to ensure certain requirements are met. Students are eligible for the college credit if they complete the full course and complete the curriculum as approved by the college. Students will be awarded the grade received in the class (A-F) as reported by the approved high school instructor.
Credit earned through the ACC/College Now program is transferable to colleges and universities in state and around the country. This credit can prevent a student from repeating coursework he/she has already completed, saving money and time toward college degree completion! This credit may also provide students with scheduling flexibility for study abroad or service learning opportunities.
Please note: It is always up to the receiving institution on how and if credit will apply to their degree programs,
so be sure to check with your specific school. For a list of colleges and universities that have accepted ACC/

Registration and Costs |
 |
|
(Please find the step-by-step registration guide under the "Register" tab.)
For this academic year (2010-11), ACC Registration will be an on-line process and students will register and pay each semester or trimester that they are taking an ACC approved class.
Students need to register with CCC for the college credit within the registration timelines posted. If students are taking multiple classes for college credit, they will likely be registering at different times throughout the year. Registration for the college credit begins approximately two weeks after a class begins at the high school. The registration dates will be listed on the High School Class Registration Lists.
At a significant savings, students can begin earning college credit while still in high school. College credit through the ACC Program is $10 per credit. When compared to the current CCC tuition/fee of $79 per credit, this is a significant savings. When compared to university costs, the savings are huge! The credits can transfer and prevent a student from repeating coursework he/she has already completed. This saves money and time toward college degree completion!
ACC No Refund Policy:
CCC is pleased to offer students in the ACC program a delayed payment option. Please note the tuition due date posted in your high school course listings page. A “no refund” policy has been adopted in conjunction with this extended payment date. If you have any questions, please contact the Advanced College Credit office at 503-594-3208 |

Once you have reviewed your transcript to verify everything is accurate, you may submit your transcript request online, in person, by fax or mail.
- NEW! To order an official transcript online, click on Transcript Request in the Account Information link in myClackamas). Or go to http://www.getmytranscript.com and select Clackamas Community College.
