Introduction to the Disability Resource Center

Our Mission

The Disability Resource Center provides services in support of the mission of Clackamas Community College. These services are designed to support student success by creating a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment at Clackamas Community College.

Campus Features

Much of CCC is barrier-free. Campuses feature numerous architectural modifications including ramps, door openers, elevators, and accessible restrooms. All of our classes are fully accessible. If access is ever an issue, the Disability Coordinator will provide any modifications that a student needs to access a particular class.

Public transportation (Tri-Met) serves all campuses. A special shuttle serves the Molalla area. For students using their own vehicles and needing special parking, designated areas are available.  Parking is free at all sites.

CCC has no on-campus housing; however, ASG (student government) has listings of available housing nearby as well as a roommate referral network.

Introduction to the Office

Clackamas Community College is committed to providing equal access to all students through the removal of architectural and attitudinal barriers, and the provision of reasonable accommodations in academic and social opportunities at the College. The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is the essential tool to assure this happens. DRC strives to serve both students and faculty in an effort to make Clackamas Community College fully accessible.

Students with disabilities are not required to register with The Disability Resource Center. Registration is required in order to provide specific accommodations or address compliance issues with regard to the American with Disabilities Act. Registration does allow the DRC Coordinator to support an educational plan with services in a manner that helps assure student success and satisfaction with the college experience.

The DRC is also at the service of the entire college community. Faculty and Staff who have any concerns or questions about students with disabilities are invited to address them to the DRC Coordinator.
