Upcoming Clackamas Camps & Clinics2012 Softball Camps & Clinics
The camps will be conducted at the same time but girls will be grouped together by age and skill level. Each session will consist of one hour of hitting, bunting, and slapping and one hour of defensive skills and drills. The camps will be conducted by the CCC Women’s Softball Team. 20th Annual Hitting Clinic Pitching Clinic CCC pitching coach, Emily Smith, will give instruction on the fundamentals of pitching. This clinic will help girls ages 8-13 to learn and develop the pitching motion through instruction and hands-on teaching. The CCC softball pitchers will assist each pitcher with individual feedback. To ensure a small pitcher-to-coach ratio, this clinic is limited to number of pitchers, so enroll early. View more details & registration form For more information, please contact head coach Jessica Buel at 2011 Volleyball CampsMAY CLINIC (Ages 10-18) This is a four hour session working on beginning skills of volleyball. Serving, passing, digging, hitting and team concepts will be stressed. Session is limited to 40 participants. There will be a one hour lunch break and participants should bring lunch. JULY CAMPS Team Camps (Grades 9-12) * Limited to four teams A nine-hour, three-day camp working with specific high school level teams. Teamwork, fundamental skills, offensive and defensive systems, communication and role identification will be emphasized. This camp will only accommodate 4 complete teams. Teams are units with 10-14 athletes each. Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Include all names, t-shirt sizes, and school mascot/colors on single team registration form (as attachment). A parent/legal guardian signature on the form below is required for each participant. Skills Camp (Grades 9-12) A three day camp working to improve play on passing, setting, digging, hitting, blocking, serving, defensive tactics, offensive systems and play sets, conditioning and plyometrics. Limited to 40 participants. She was also honored by the Portland Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) as College Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2009 for the Portland metropolitan area. Coach Woods and her staff will ensure your child receives top-notch coaching and valuable tools for player development. 2011 Soccer CampsCome and experience a fun and challenging soccer camp at one of the best soccer programs in the Northwest. The Cougar soccer team has established themselves as one of the premier junior college teams in the country, winning Northwest championships in 2004, 2005 and 2007 and region championships in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 & 2010. About Coach Szpara Szpara was a member of the U.S. National Team during the 1986-87 seasons. Her ’86 U.S. team was honored with an induction into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007. Following college, Szpara continued to be a member of the U.S. National pool from 1988-1991. She then turned pro and played professionally, earning all-star honors, in Japan with the Shiroki Serena from 1995-99. Following Japan, Szpara returned to the U.S. and played a season with Foothill F.C. in 2000 and with the Women’s United Soccer Association’s San Jose Cyberrays from 2001-02. Szpara’s extensive coaching career extends back to 1989 where she was an assistant at both Stanford (’89-90) and Cal (’90-‘92). Szpara also had a brief assistant coaching stints at Cornell University (’00), Santa Clara University (‘02), San Jose State University (’03) and Warner Pacific (’04-’06) Questions? 2011 Wrestling Camp
This is a commuter camp featuring Division I All-American & UFC Pro Chael Sonnen, 2x Junior College Champ Tyrell Fortune, and Emmy Award Winner and Motivational Speaker Richard Jensen. Although this is designed as a commuter camp we would love to help accommodate anyone interested in being a part of this wrestling camp. The camp will focus on developing wrestling skills over the four days as well as citizenship, leadership, and decision making. Please consider sending your high school and club kids as this will help to benefit the college's wrestling team!
