Submissions/Editorial Policy

Here is the procedure by which Clackamas Community College instructors may submit projects to The Banyan:

1. Print out and complete the submission form (choose from PDF version or the Word version) for each project submitted. Remember to obtain the student's release signature and profile.
   
   
2. Nominated projects may be submitted in electronic form to Jim Grabill at jimg@clackamas.edu (or a disk or CD can be delivered via campus mail or in person).

Both the project in electronic form and the print copy of the submission form need to be turned in by the deadline in order to be considered for publication.

The submission deadline for the Spring 2003 issue of The Banyan is April 7, 2003.

The Banyan publishes student works judged by the faculty to demonstrate to be excellent representations of work in their field/subject area.

All submissions must be created solely by Clackamas Community College students. Faculty can nominate only those works produced within their own classes.

The editorial staff of The Banyan will consider works nominated by faculty for inclusion in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

Submissions to The Banyan are considered works-in-progress, which may be published elsewhere in identical or altered form.
