Welcome to Online Learning!
If you're new to online courses and want to take advantage of this exciting new distance learning opportunity, you've come to the right place. BT 101 Introduction to Online Learning is a college credit course offered by Clackamas Community College to anyone interested in finding out what it takes to be successful in online learning.
This hands-on workshop is designed to introduce you to online learning techniques and help you overcome technical barriers. Each student will

create a personal Blackboard account

explore the virtual classroom environment
-
find out what computer and software programs are required
-
learn to communicate using e-mail and discussion boards
-
learn to navigate the World Wide Web
-
discover helpful online resources
-
develop successful online study skills
To complete the course (1 credit):
You'll need to complete six short assignments designed to strengthen your online success skills. These can be done at your own pace and schedule, but can easily be completed in 8-10 hours (you can read about the assignments in more detail when you log in to Blackboard).
If you are taking this course for credit, you'll also need to register with the college. You can do this online at CCC Enrollment Services.

Click on the link to "Blackboard login" at the top of this page, then follow the instructions to create your new Blackboard account (or log in to an existing Blackboard account if you already have one).
