Week 6/May 8 Using Shared Borders and Themes Tutorial 4 introduces some of the most exciting features of FrontPage 2003, particularly Shared Borders and Themes. These are powerful tools for streamlining the design and management of your Web site. Shared Borders allow you to assign common areas to all, or just selected, pages in your Web. This means your pages can "share" link bars, graphics and other common elements, and when you revise them, they're automatically updated throughout the web (like headers and footers). Themes are pre-defined formats which can be applied to your entire Web. A theme can include a background color or picture, font styles, link bar styles, and other graphics to give your Web a professional, unified look (if you're familiar with PowerPoint, you know what they look like).
