Week 6/May 8

Lesson 5: Cycling Guidebook
Lesson 5 takes us inside a very attractive, graphical (and French!) booklet, and provides some more hands-on practice with those workhorse PageMaker tools, frames and styles. In addition, Lesson 5 introduces some nifty new features, including

  • Multiple Master Pages. We've already seen how a single master page streamlines and unifies the layout of multi-page documents. What if you would like to base some pages on a different master? No sweat.

  • Adjust Layout. This little option (located on your Print dialogue box) saves a lot of headaches if you decide to change the page size of your document after formatting it.

  • Bullets & Numbers plug-in makes formatting bullet and number lists a piece of cake.

Lesson 5 is due in my e-mailbox by noon Monday, May 15.
