New Hire Orientation (mandatory):

Prior to your orientation in the Human Resource Office, you are asked to please review all the information, including the links, in the electronic FT Classified Orientation. Call the Human Resource Office at 503-594-3458 to complete the process and sign up for benefits.

Continuing Professional Education:

CCC offers continuing professional education opportunities for FT Classified staff. These opportunities are in the form of professional development funds, the opportunity for the advanced degree program and awarded grants through the Classified Association.

Reclassification:

In the event an employee's job duties or responsibilities are changed because of
departmental reorganization or reduction of positions, the supervisor will prepare a
revised job description to be reviewed by the Human Resources Dean. The Human
Resources Dean will forward new and revised job descriptions and reclassification
requests to LGPI. (See contract for additional information).

Evaluations:

Assessment (Evaluation) is a process by which a supervisor reviews an employee performance.  A review of goals and plans are discussed for future performance. 

All forms are to be signed by employee and supervisor.

March of each year, the Human Resource Office will send out evaluation requests for all staff who are on a regular evaluation schedule.

Notification of 90 and 180 day evaluation will be sent to supervisors in order to evaluate probationary employees. Employees will receive the job description and the probationary form to review five days prior to the evaluation.

Association Information:

CCC Classified employees are part of the Oregon Education Association. After a 180 day probationary period, our new employees are invited to join the Classified bargaining unit or becoming a fair share non voting member. Dues are determined by the OEA.

Part-Time Classified (19 1/2 hours per week):

If you would like to apply to our pool of part-time employees please click here.

CCC PT Classified employees work no more than 19.5 hours per week. If an employee works in two departments, the combination should equal 19.5 hours. PT Classified are considered at will employees.

Health Benefits - CCC does not offer benefits to PT Classified employees.

Retirement Benefits - Part-time Classified staff are welcome to participate in CCC's 403b and 457 plans. Depending on hours worked, PT employees may be part of the PERS retirement. Please contact PERS for additional information.

Professional Development - CCC has some professional development opportunities for PT staff. Please check with your department to see what might be available.

Tuition Vouchers - PT Classified may receive a Fill A Seat tuition voucher from their department each term, until 2010. Registration for vouchers is during the week before the beginning of the term. There must be an unfilled seat to use a Fill A Seat voucher. Please contact your supervisor for more information.
