CCC offers a comprehensive benefit package to eligible employees and their families, including domestic partners, with a broad range of employer and employee paid benefit options, upon completion of the orientation. CCC's benefit package includes: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability, EAP, and PERS. Effective 10/1/2010, voluntary benefits will include long-term care, additional life insurance and now short-term disability.

 

 

OPEN ENROLLMENT: 2011-2012

Open Enrollment via the OEBB website is August 15 - September 15.  During open enrollment, you have the opportunity to change your benefit plan and add/delete dependents. Due to federal health care legislation changes, parents may now be able to elect dependent medical coverage for their children up to age 26.

  1. If you are not making any changes to your coverage selections, you do not need to take any action. However, there are changes within the plans, so read OEBB information that was mailed to you.
  2. Go to: https://myoebb.org/oebb/!pb.main (registration)
  3. If you have out-of-pocket health and dependent care expenses, you need to
    re-enroll in the Flex 125 Plan by September 16th, forms are located below and in the HR Office.
  4. If you select the HSA, US Bank will be the finance vendor.
  5. All plan changes are effective on October 1st.
  6. Please read the information sent out by OEBB carefully for changes within the medical plans effective October 1.

Opt Out (Full Time Staff)

Eligible employees who choose to opt out (proof of other coverage required) will receive a $200 per month stipend. Employees who work .75 FTE or less are entitled to a pro-rated amount. You will still be covered through the College for basic life (valued at $50,000) and long term disability, at no cost to you.

Note that you must opt out of medical and waive dental and vision online through OEBB. Additionally, you must fill out the opt out form listed below and return it to HR by September 16.

Flex 125:

CCC provides the option for employees to enroll in a flexible spending account to allow for payment of qualified expenses through pre-tax deductions. Excess health/dental premium costs above the employee fringe benefit package allotment, for dependent medical/dental coverage.

Selecting the high deductible medical plan and who also contribute into a health saving account (HSA) will not be eligible to participate in the Section 125 plan except for dependent coverage.


The Flex 125 plan MUST be re-enrolled each year for Medical and Dependent Care expenses during open enrollment. Deadline is September 16th for this form only.

 

Qualified non-reimbursed out-of-pocket medical expenses ($3,000 currently, $2,500 effective 1/1/2013). Dependent childcare expenses (limited to $5,000 annually).

HSA:

Selecting the high deductible medical plan who also contribute into a health saving account (HSA) will not be eligible to participate in the Section 125 plan except for dependent coverage. The college agrees to place single premium savings of $151.11 a month into the employee's health savings account in 2010-11.

2011-12, it will be $TBD a month.

Life Insurance:

Group Term Life Insurance is provided through Standard Insurance/OEBB. The premium is for employee only, basic coverage, is included in the CCC employee benefit package. The life insurance package value is $50,000. Additional life insurance is available. When enrolling into the OEBB insurance program, beneficary information will be needed to enroll.

Long-Term Disability/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance:

The College provides Long-Term Disability and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance (to employee only) as part of the full-time employee's benefit package. Rate is based on monthly salary multiplied by .0027 (66% of gross monthly wage).
