1) Be able to explain the concept of uniformitarianism
and how it is applied in geology
2) Know who James Hutton is.
3) Be able to explain how uniformitarianism is
used to understand the formation of features on earth
4) Know what is meant by deep time and know what
the scientific age the earth is.
5) Understand what the geologic time table is
and how/why it was created.
6) Be able to reproduce the geologic time table
