There are political science classes focusing on the American and Oregon political system, political ideologies, world politics, and political theory. In each class, students are encouraged to engage in political discussions designed to improve each student's critical reasoning skills and citizenship. Moreover, each class is designed so students can pick and choose the particular class, or classes, they find interesting without any prior experience with political science.
Political science prepares students for a career in politics, government, law, executive management, or any other feild that requires a well-educated individual. Of course, political science is also essential for every student who wants to help improve the world around them by equipping students with the necessary skills to practice their citizenship in a more meaningful manner.
