TEAS TESTING
How does the test work? The Test of Essential Academic Skills is a computer-based test that covers 4 subjects: reading, math, science, and english. Your scores are available immediately after you finish, and you can print them off. How much does it cost? We charge a $25 proctoring fee that is paid in the front lobby of Roger Rook Hall. When you start the test, TEAS will ask you for a credit card number so they can charge you directly for the cost of the test. TEAS charges $35 for the test plus $25 per school that you want the scores sent to. This means that you will be paying at least $60 (our $25 plus their $35) to take the test. What do I need to find out from the school I am applying to? If your school will allow us to send your scores in a sealed envelope or via fax, we are willing to do this at no cost to save you that extra $25 charge. If you want us to do this, bring the contact name, address, and/or fax number for the school that you want us to send your scores to. We give TEAS version 5.0 by default. If your school wants you to take a different version, be sure to let us know. How long is the TEAS test? The TEAS test is a little bit longer than 3.5 hours, and it will take you some time to pay and get registered to test, so plan to be here for 4 hours. How do I schedule? You can call 503-594-3283 during regular business hours to schedule your TEAS test. Where can I get more information? http://www.atitesting.com/global/students/teas-faq.aspx
